The Department of Anatomy Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa, offers robust Anatomy education to around 600 students in any one academic year with 13 faculty who guide the learning process. The Department caters to Medical, Dental, Nursing and Allied Health Science undergraduate students as well as Postgraduate students of Anatomy, Dentistry, Post-basic diploma in Psychiatric Nursing, MSc Nursing and Occupational therapy. Consequently, we adopt innovative ways of teaching leveraging on information technology and making lectures more interactive with case problem-solving. The Department is equipped with infrastructure to practice integrated teaching of topographic, microscopic, developmental, radiological and clinical Anatomy as well as implementation of the AETCOM module as per CBME guidelines.
