DEAN MESSAGE

I am tremendously proud to head as Dean of Goa Medical College, which is also my alma mater, having long history of providing practical, experiential-based medical education. We prepare students to be leaders with the moral depth and rational reasoning necessary to meet the challenges of acute medical emergencies and valued services.

As we look to the future and think about the positive impact we want to continue to make through our scholarship, teaching, and service, the role of colleges of education has never been more important. We are committed to advancing academic excellence and the impact of a university education through a dedicated focus to inspire our students to be socially aware, critical thinkers, and global citizens who shall create and bring about positive change in the world.

Students have good opportunities to receive early clinical experience and build clinical skills at our tertiary care hospital, which offers excellent patient care facilities. For better and more advanced patient care, we also have a facility devoted to Super Specialty Services, which also provides avenue for MCh and DM courses.

As a group, we have the ability to make a significant difference in the world. I invite everyone who wants to join our team to help us grow and make a difference in people’s lives. We have the power to generate and share knowledge for causes that will make the greatest impact on people’s lives.
