General Medicine

The Department of Internal Medicine is one of the core departments of Goa Medical College. It deals with systemic diseases of the patient. The department is involved in patient care, academics and research work. The main thrust of the department is infectious and tropical diseases, neurological disorders, cardiovascular diseases, hematological problems and rheumatologically disorders.

The department aims to provide state-of-the-art quality care to all patients both underprivileged as well as elite class.

Mission

It aims to produce graduate medical professionals as well as post-graduate specialists having empathy, knowledge, skills and ethics.
