(a)  Layout and floor area:   4000 sq. mts. with six floors wherein each floor is divided into two separate  Sections.

Total Seating capacity 550 seats

Reading Hall: 85 Seats (open for 24 hours).

(b) Reading Room :

a) for U.G.:      250 chairs

b) for P.G.:       200 chairs

c) for Faculty & Staff:      100 chairs

d) In each accommodation:    As per provision made.

(c) Working hours:       Morning 8.00 a.m. to Evening 8.00 p.m. On all working days

(d)  No. of shifts:      Three shifts i.e.   8.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.(With lunch break)

(e) Total number of  Books     :     Around 30,000 books and also old Portuguese Medical Books are Available.
