Urology
The Department of Urology was established on 2nd April’2008 and since then, it has grown by leaps & bounds to provide comprehensive urological care to patients.
Department of Urology has two dedicated wards with 60 beds, Two High dependency Units of 06 beds in each ward and a dedicated Renal Transplant unit consisting of 06 beds.
Also, the department has two dedicated operation theatres.
The Department of Urology conducts OPDs (Out Patient Department Clinics) three times a week.
It attends to all urological emergencies and interdepartmental references 24×7.
In addition to the routine work (OT and ward), the department conducts ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock wave Lithotripsy) procedures, Interventional procedures on Interventional Color Doppler machines and Urodynamic studies
